Okay, so I bought those multivitamin gummies for my 6-year-old. He loves them, but today he asked for 'candy' and I realized he thinks they're just candy. I'm worried he might sneak them when I'm not looking. Any advice on how to keep them out of reach or make him understand? 😅

Oh, I totally get this! My kids used to think the same. I keep them in a high cabinet and only give them out as a 'treat' after breakfast. I also explain that they're like special medicine that helps them grow strong. Maybe try a fun chart where they get a sticker each day they take their vitamin – makes it seem more like a routine than candy.

Haha, my husband does the same thing! But seriously, I'd suggest investing in a child-resistant container or just keep them in the original bottle and store it somewhere they can't reach. Also, you can make your own gummies at home – then you control the sweetness and can even use veggie-based colors. My kids love making them with me! 😉

I feel you! My little one used to sneak them too. What worked for us was turning it into a mindful moment – we sit together, take the vitamin, and then do a short breathing exercise. It's become a special bonding time. Maybe try that? Also, I've found that some brands have a less candy-like texture, so you could switch to a different brand if he's not a fan of the chewiness.

As a mom who's also a fitness nut, I get the candy fear. But honestly, as long as they're not eating the whole bottle, it's fine. They're just vitamins. I'd just keep them out of sight. And if they refuse to eat them because of texture, maybe try the gummies that are softer? My kids used to hate the hard ones. But definitely don't make a big deal out of it – they'll eat them when they're hungry enough! 😂
