Hey everyone, I came across this study (PMID: 34567890) claiming that vitamin D gummies are just as effective as tablets. But it was funded by a supplement company. What do you guys think? Is it legit or just marketing?

Hmm, I'd be skeptical if it's industry-funded. But I've been taking vitamin D gummies for a while and my levels are fine. Maybe the study is still legit, but I'd want to see independent replication.

Who cares about the study? I just want something that tastes good and doesn't make me jittery like coffee. But yeah, probably biased. I'd trust a meta-analysis over a single study.

True, I'm leaning towards skepticism. The sample size was small too (only 100 people). I'll stick with my tablets until more evidence comes out.

Maybe we should ask the mods to pin a thread about reading studies critically? I'm still learning to spot bias.
