THREAD: Weird side effect from my multivitamin gummies - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey everyone, been taking these multivitamin gummies for about 2 weeks now (the berry flavored ones from Nature's Way). They taste great and I feel more energetic, but I've noticed something weird - my urine is BRIGHT neon yellow, like highlighter pen yellow! It's not painful or anything, just... alarming looking lol. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this with their gummies? Should I be worried?

OP, that's actually completely normal and harmless! The bright yellow urine is from riboflavin (vitamin B2) - it's water-soluble and your body excretes what it doesn't need. Most multivitamins contain high doses of B vitamins. The color intensity depends on your hydration level and the specific formulation. Nothing to worry about scientifically, but drink more water if it bothers you!

omg yes! I had the same thing when I started my DIY vitamin regimen. I make my own gummies with gelatin, honey, and powdered vitamins from bulk suppliers. The B vitamins definitely make things... colorful lol. If you're concerned about the commercial ones, you could try making your own so you control the doses! I have a great recipe if you want it - much cheaper too.

Interesting! The body speaks in many ways. That bright yellow could be your system purging toxins as the vitamins support your liver pathways. I'd recommend pairing the gummies with dandelion root tea to support healthy elimination. Also, have you noticed any changes in your dreams? B vitamins can affect REM cycles - another sign of energetic rebalancing!

Thanks everyone! @AlphaAdam - good to know it's science, not something scary. @IndigoIris540 - might take you up on that recipe, sounds fun! @DynamicDan547 - now that you mention it, I have been having more vivid dreams lately. Not bad ones, just... intense. Maybe it's all connected? Anyway, feeling better about the neon pee situation now haha.
