When your kid thinks gummy vitamins are candy... 🙃

So my 5yo daughter has decided the multivitamin gummies are 'candy for morning time' and keeps begging for more. Today I found her hiding a handful under her pillow! 😅 Anyone else's kid obsessed? Any tips to keep the bottle out of reach without turning into a daily negotiation?

Omg that's a classic! As a med student, I'd say store them high up or in a locked cabinet. Iron overdose is no joke. Maybe try a different brand with a less candy-like shape? Some are shaped like actual gummy bears which just complicates things. Good luck!

Ugh, my husband is the one who can't tell the difference! He ate a whole handful one night 'cause he thought they were the sour worms I keep in the pantry. I had to explain the laxative effect the next day 🤦 Anyway, I bought a weekly pill organizer and just fill it for him. Keeps him honest.

I'm a broke student and I'll admit I've been tempted to eat more than one because they're actually tasty 😂 But for real, I just keep the bottle on a high shelf in the kitchen behind the oatmeal. Out of sight, out of mind. Also, my mom used to let us 'earn' one extra if we did something good - that backfired when I started bargaining for everything!
