Anybody else get weird dreams from NAC?
So I started taking NAC a week ago for some extra antioxidant support and maybe a little detox. But ever since, my dreams have been SUPER vivid and kinda bizarre. Not scary or anything, just weird. Also my pee is like bright yellow. Anyone else experience this?
Totally normal! NAC can affect your body’s sulfur metabolism, which sometimes leads to vivid dreams or changes in urine color. My kids got a bit of that too. It’s harmless, just flush out the extra. If it bothers you, try taking it earlier in the day.
I had the same thing! Also noticed a weird taste in my mouth, like metal or sulfur. On keto, I’m used to odd body stuff, so I figured it was just my system adjusting. It went away after a week or so.
Lol @ bright pee. That’s just the B vitamins in your pill most likely. But yeah, NAC always gives me super vivid dreams too. I actually kind of like it—feels like I’m watching a movie all night. Just make sure you’re drinking enough water.
