Anyone else get weird dreams from NAC?
Hey all, started taking NAC about a week ago for some extra antioxidant support. Noticed I've been having super vivid dreams, like movie-level crazy. Anyone else? Not complaining, just curious.
Ha, that's a new one! I've been on NAC for a while, only side effect I get is my pee smells like gym socks. Dream-wise, nope. But I've heard it can affect neurotransmitters, so vivid dreams might be a thing. How's the dosage?
I had that when I first started! Also my taste buds went weird for a bit, like everything tasted slightly metallic. It faded after a couple weeks. Probably just your body adjusting. Stick with it!
I've been taking NAC for months now, no dreams but I did notice my urine turned bright yellow. Freaked me out but apparently it's harmless, just excess B vitamins or something. Maybe yours is just a similar harmless quirk. If it bothers you, try taking it earlier in the day.
