Anyone else see the new NAC study? Seems fishy...

Just read this new study on NAC for muscle recovery: https://pmid.example.com/12345678 It claims NAC supplementation cut DOMS by 40% in a week. Sounds too good to be true? I'm always wary of supp studies, but I've been curious about NAC for a while. What do you guys think?

Another day, another study funded by Big Supplement. NAC has been around forever, and the evidence is shaky at best. I'd bet my last dollar that this was a small sample size or they cherry-picked results. Unless it's replicated in a large trial, I'm passing.

Omg I've been using NAC for my sinuses and it's a game changer! But for muscles? Hmm. The study sounds promising but I agree with Pete, need more data. Still, I might try it for my next marathon.

Hey guys! I've been following NAC research for a while. This study is legit – it was published in a peer-reviewed journal (not a pay-to-publish one). But remember, supplements aren't magic. NAC works by boosting glutathione, which helps with oxidative stress. So for intense workouts, yeah maybe. But don't expect miracles. Also, check the dosage – some studies use 600-1200mg. Anyway, I'm with Iris on this: worth a try, but keep expectations realistic.

Thanks Rich! I might grab some NAC from the store, but I'll start low. Anyone had any side effects? I heard it can upset your stomach.
