THREAD: Can I mix NAC gummies with my morning coffee? Safety check!Started by OrganicOlivia44

Hey everyone, quick question! I've been taking NAC gummies for immune support (the berry flavored ones from that brand everyone recommends). I usually have them with my morning coffee before hitting the gym. Is that safe? Or should I space them out? I don't want to mess with absorption or anything. Thanks!

Oh dear, I'd be careful mixing supplements with caffeine! My grandson takes NAC gummies too (for his allergies), but I always make sure he has them with breakfast, not coffee. Coffee can interfere with so many things - minerals, vitamins. Maybe wait 30 mins between? Better safe than sorry, especially with something like NAC that affects glutathione.

Interesting question! From what I've learned in my wellness training, NAC works best on an empty stomach for maximum absorption. Coffee might actually speed up metabolism of it? But also, both can be hard on an empty stomach. I take mine with warm lemon water first thing, then coffee 20 mins later. Listen to your body's signals! 🧘♀️

Thanks both! @HolisticHolly718 that makes sense - I'll try taking them right when I wake up instead of with coffee. @MindfulMila good point about empty stomach, but sometimes NAC makes me a bit nauseous if I don't have something with it. Maybe a small piece of fruit first? Gotta optimize these gains 💪
