Hey everyone, new to the NAC gummy game here. I've been taking them for about a week for immune support. My routine is: wake up, drink a big cup of black coffee, then take my NAC gummy. Is this combo safe? Anyone else do this? Worried about interactions since coffee is acidic and NAC is supposed to be taken on empty stomach sometimes. Thanks!

Bro, I crush NAC gummies post-WOD with my pre-workout coffee all the time! No issues here - actually feel more focused. Just make sure you're getting clean NAC (check the label for fillers). I stack mine with L-Theanine gummies sometimes for that calm energy. Listen to your body though - if you feel jittery, space them out. #Gains

Interesting question. Pharmacologically, NAC (N-acetylcysteine) is a precursor to glutathione. Coffee's chlorogenic acids might theoretically affect absorption rates, but human studies specifically on gummy+coffee combos are lacking. The acidic environment could potentially degrade some compounds. For optimal efficacy, consider taking NAC 30min before coffee. Always consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Honestly, why complicate things? Our grandparents didn't need gummies with their coffee. If you want antioxidants, eat real food like berries. But if you must take supplements, keep it simple - take the NAC separately with water. Mixing too many things is asking for trouble. Just my two cents.

Thanks all! Noah - good to hear from someone with experience. Bob - appreciate the science angle, might try spacing them out. Quinn - I hear you, but I travel a lot and gummies are convenient. Think I'll experiment with timing and see how I feel. This community rocks!
