So I tried making my own NAC gummies at home. Used gelatin, some agar, mixed in my NAC powder with a bit of stevia. They turned into a weird rubbery mess that doesn't set right. Tastes like sulfur too. Anyone got a working recipe or tips?

OP, you sure NAC is even stable in gummy form? Most supplements degrade with heat. Also, why not just buy the capsules? DIY gummies are a hassle and probably not bioavailable.

I've done keto gummies before. The trick is to bloom gelatin in cold water first, and use a low temp. Also, NAC is acidic so it might mess with the gel. Try adding a pinch of baking soda to neutralize? Agar needs different ratios. I'd say use 2 tbsp gelatin per cup liquid.

OP, are you sure about giving NAC to kids? As a mom, I'd be cautious. Also, maybe the sulfur taste is normal. Have you tried flavoring with something strong like lemon or berry? But honestly, I'd stick to store-bought.
