Hey all! I'm looking to get a 'health pack' of gummies as a gift. Either for my aging dad (70, active but stiff joints) or my friend who's obsessed with fitness (30, lifts heavy). I keep hearing about NAC gummies – are those good for either? Also, any brand recommendations? My dad prefers sugar-free, friend doesn't care.

NAC is solid for both actually. For your dad, it can help with joints and detox. For your friend, it aids recovery and lung function (great for cardio). I'd go with a brand like Nature's Trove – they have sugar-free options. Just make sure to check dosage: 600mg per gummy is standard.

I'd second NAC for the friend – I take it myself and noticed better recovery. For your dad, maybe look into a combo with turmeric? My dad loves the 'Golden Years' pack from GummyWell – it has NAC, turmeric, and vitamin D. Also, if your friend is into pre-workout, some NAC gummies have caffeine, so watch out for that.

I fast a lot and NAC is my go-to for autophagy support. For your friend, definitely NAC gummies – they help with oxidative stress from heavy lifting. But your dad? Maybe start with a lower dose. I've heard older folks can get gassy from NAC. Oh, and check if they have any kidney issues – NAC can be harsh if dehydrated. Otherwise, go for it!
