Hey all, my NAC gummies have been sitting in the pantry for about 2 months (sealed). I noticed the color has darkened a bit and they feel a little hard/sticky. Still smell fine. Are they safe to eat or should I toss them?

Hey OP, gummies are basically candy with supplements. The color change and hardening is just sugar bloom or moisture loss. They're most likely fine, but potency might degrade a bit. I've eaten older gummies without issues. Just make sure no mold visible and they don't smell off.

I've had that happen with my elderberry gummies. I'd say if they are just hard and sticky, it's cosmetic. But if there's any white powder (sugar bloom) that's fine. If they're rock hard, maybe warm them up a little to soften, but they are still safe. Check for any weird smell.

I'm a stickler for freshness. If they changed texture significantly, I'd toss them. You don't know what's happening chemically. Better safe than sorry. Plus, if they are NAC, they are probably sensitive to heat/humidity. My advice: buy smaller quantities or keep in fridge.
