Is this NAC study legit or just hype?

Hey guys, just came across this new study on NAC (N-acetylcysteine) for gut health and mental clarity. Here's the link: [PMID: 12345678]. Claims it boosts glutathione and reduces inflammation, but something feels off. Anyone else seen this? Too good to be true?

Oh wow, thanks for sharing! I've been taking NAC for a few months to help with my meditation focus. My mindfulness coach recommended it. I'd love to know if there's any bias. Who funded the study?

Probably trying to sell you something. I stick to whole foods like garlic and turmeric. But I read NAC can interact with meds. Better check with a doc. That journal is reputable though.

Yeah, the funding is from a supplement company, so I'm skeptical. But the sample size is decent (200 people). TeaTina, have you noticed any side effects?

None so far, but I also take a low dose and cycle it. I'll def ask my doctor about the study. Thanks for the heads up!
