THREAD: Looking for NAC gummy recommendations for aging parent or fitness friend giftStarted by OP

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find some good NAC gummies to give as gifts. My dad's getting older and I've heard NAC might help with his energy levels, and my friend is super into fitness and always looking for supplements. I want something that's actually effective but also tastes decent since they're gummies. Any brands you'd recommend? Or should I look for a 'health pack' with multiple things instead?

Welcome! NAC is wonderful for supporting glutathione production - your body's master antioxidant. For aging parents, I'd recommend Nature's Way NAC gummies with added elderberry. They're gentle on digestion and the elderberry provides extra immune support. For fitness friends, look for brands with added selenium or vitamin C to enhance NAC's detox benefits. Avoid anything with artificial colors - the body doesn't need those toxins! I've seen my clients have great results with consistent use.

tbh i just started taking NAC gummies last month for my meditation practice? like i read it helps with brain fog and i def notice i can focus better during my sessions. i got the NOW brand ones from amazon, theyre cherry flavored and not too sweet. might be good for your dad if he has trouble concentrating? also theyre vegan which is cool. for your friend maybe something with extra stuff for recovery?

As someone who works nights, NAC has been a game-changer for my immune system. I use the Life Extension NAC gummies - they have a bit of zinc too which helps when you're sleep-deprived. The citrus flavor masks any sulfur taste pretty well. For gifts, maybe get individual bottles instead of a pack? That way you can personalize - your dad might need different support than your fitness friend. Also check expiration dates since gummies can get stale.

Thanks everyone! This is super helpful. I think I'll get the Nature's Way for my dad like GummyGuru suggested, and maybe the Life Extension ones for my friend since she's always pushing herself hard at the gym. Appreciate the tips about checking ingredients and expiration dates too - wouldn't want to give stale gummies as a gift!
