Hey everyone! So I've been taking NAC gummies for a few months now and I absolutely LOVE the Wild Cherry flavor—it's like a nostalgic cherry cough drop but in a good way. However, I tried the Lemon Lime last week and ugh, it tastes like cleaning products to me. I'm almost out and need to reorder, but I'm torn: should I stick with Wild Cherry or try another flavor? What's your favorite NAC gummy flavor? I'm looking for something that actually tastes good and doesn't make me gag. Thanks!

Honestly, I'm skeptical of all these flavored gummies. NAC is known for its sulfurous smell, so any flavor is just covering up the nastiness. That said, if you must, I'd say go with a citrus flavor—it tends to mask better. But why not just take capsules? Cheaper and no weird aftertaste. Just my two cents.

As a med student, I've tried a bunch of NAC brands. Flavor-wise, the berry medley from [Brand X] is pretty solid—not too sweet, no weird chemical aftertaste. But keep in mind that gummies often have added sugar and may not have the same bioavailability as capsules. If you're set on gummies, I'd recommend trying a sampler pack if available. Also, Wild Cherry sounds like it could be overly artificial; maybe try something more neutral like unflavored if you can find it?

Thanks for the replies! PurePete231, I get the capsule argument, but I have trouble swallowing pills, so gummies are my go-to. QuartzQuinn183, I'll look into that berry medley. Has anyone tried the Grape flavor? I saw it online but I'm worried it'll be too sweet. Also, does anyone know if the Lemon Lime aftertaste lingers? I swear I could still taste it an hour later. Bleh.

FloraFinn210, if you can't swallow pills, have you tried NAC powder? You can mix it into juice or a smoothie. It smells like rotten eggs, but at least you control the flavor. And no, I haven't tried Grape—probably just as artificial as the rest. But hey, if you like Wild Cherry, stick with what works. Don't fix what ain't broke.
