NAC gave me the wildest dreams ever - anyone else?
Started taking NAC about a week ago for lung support. Noticed my dreams are super vivid and weird, like I'm in a movie. Also my pee is bright yellow even though I'm drinking a ton of water. Anyone else get this?
Yeah, NAC can cause bright yellow urine, it's just excess sulfur being excreted. The vivid dreams are less common but I've heard of it. Probably harmless, but if it bothers you, try taking it earlier in the day.
Bro, I've been on NAC for like 3 months and my dreams are epic. Like I'm a dragon slayer every night. I actually love it. The pee thing is normal, it's the sulfur. You're good.
I had the same thing! The dreams settled down after a couple weeks. Also my taste buds got a little weird for a bit - metallic taste? Anyway, it's all good now. Stick with it!
