Hey all, just got some NAC gummies and I'm kinda shocked. The label says 4g of sugar per serving! I'm trying to follow a paleo-ish lifestyle, and this feels like a total cheat. Aren't we supposed to be taking supplements for health, not feeding a sweet tooth? What's the point if we're just eating candy with a fancy label? Anyone else bothered by this 'candy-fication' of supplements?

Greg, I totally hear you! As a holistic healer, I believe in purity above all. NAC is powerful for liver support and antioxidants, but when it's loaded with sugar and artificial flavors, you're undoing the benefits. I recommend looking for capsule forms or even powdered NAC you can mix into water. The body processes it better without the sugar spike. Convenience shouldn't compromise health!

ugh, as someone on night shifts, I get the convenience argument tho. after a long shift, popping a gummy is way easier than dealing with pills when I'm exhausted. but yeah, the sugar is a bummer. maybe there are low-sugar options? or is that just wishful thinking? i need my NAC for immune support but dont want the crash.

Gym rat here - I feel you Greg, but honestly, I'll take the gummies any day. They taste good and I actually remember to take them. Pills? I forget half the time. 4g of sugar is nothing compared to my post-workout shake lol. As long as it fits my macros, I'm good. But yeah, if you're strict paleo, maybe stick to capsules. Different strokes!
