Hey all, I've been taking NAC gummies for a few months now, but I noticed my latest bottle (opened about 2 weeks ago) has gotten really hard and some of them are sticking together. They also look a bit darker than before. Are they still safe to eat? I hate wasting supplements.

That sounds like sugar bloom or maybe moisture got in. I've had gummies do that when I left the lid off too long. As long as they don't smell funky or moldy, they're probably fine. The potency might be slightly less though. I'd say check for mold and if clear, go for it.

I'd be cautious. Color changes can indicate oxidation, especially with NAC. It might still be safe, but the effectiveness could be compromised. If they're hard and stuck together, maybe they've degraded. I'd personally toss them and get a fresh bottle, but that's just me. Store in a cool, dry place next time.

Thanks for the input! I checked, no mold or weird smell. I think I'll take them but keep an eye out for any issues. WaterWillow, good point about the lid - I might have left it open a few times. DynamicDan, I'll definitely store the next bottle better. Cheers!
