NAC made my dreams feel like 4K movies - anyone else?

Hey all, I've been taking NAC for about a week now (600mg/day) for liver support and antioxidant benefits. The weird thing is, my dreams have become super vivid and cinematic - like I remember every detail when I wake up. Not nightmares, just... intense. Anyone else experience this? It's not bad, just odd. Also, my pee is a bit bright yellow, but that might be the B-vitamins.

Dude, same here! I've been on NAC for a month now and my dreams are wild. I'm already a vivid dreamer, but this is on another level. I've read that NAC can affect glutamate in the brain, which might play a role in dream intensity. Not complaining though, it's like free entertainment while I sleep (which is precious as a parent of a toddler). As for the pee, yeah, that's likely the B-vitamins if you're taking a combo. I take pure NAC and no color change here.

I've been taking NAC for a few months for antioxidant support, and I've definitely noticed more vivid dreams. I'm actually into lucid dreaming, so it's been a plus! I also read that NAC can increase glutathione, which might affect REM sleep. But just a heads up: NAC can sometimes alter your taste buds - I've noticed a metallic taste occasionally. It's harmless but can be annoying. And yes, bright urine is usually from B2/B6 in the formula, so no worries there. Thanks for sharing! It's nice to know I'm not the only one.

Interesting - I haven't noticed vivid dreams, but I have had a change in how things taste, especially wine and coffee. I've been on NAC for 6 weeks, and it's like my palate is different. I read that NAC can chelate heavy metals, which might temporarily affect taste. It's not bad, just different. Also, I've had some slight stomach upset if I take it on an empty stomach. Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's experienced the weird stuff. Thanks for posting, OP!
