Just saw this study on NAC for respiratory health: PMID 34567890. Claims it reduces oxidative stress significantly. But it was funded by a supplement company. Thoughts? Legit or biased?

Ooh I love NAC! Been taking it for months for my sinuses. Studies are always tricky, but if it's peer-reviewed I'd trust it more. Did they mention dosages? Im always looking for the sweet spot.

Ive seen that one. Small sample size, only 50 people. And yeah, funding is a red flag. But NAC has a lot of mechanistic evidence. I'd wait for a meta-analysis. In the meantime, I cook with garlic and turmeric for antioxidants lol.

Good points. Sample size is tiny. Also, the placebo group didn't have any intervention. I'm leaning biased, but I'll keep an eye out for more studies. Thanks!

Np! Btw Bob, garlic and turmeric are great. I put them in my smoothies sometimes. Also NAC gummies from this brand are super tasty, no weird aftertaste.
