Hey everyone! I'm heading on a big trip soon - plane, then a long hike. I wanna bring my NAC gummies for immune support, but I'm worried they might melt in my bag or that TSA will give me a hard time. Has anyone traveled with these? Do they hold up? Any storage tips? Thanks!

Hey! I've flown with gummy vitamins many times. TSA doesn't care - they're not liquids, so just keep them in the original container. As for melting, they're pretty stable. I've left them in a hot car once and they got a little soft but not melted. For hiking, I'd suggest keeping them in a cool, dry place, maybe in a small insulated pouch or near your water bottle. They should be fine!

I'm a bit skeptical of gummies in general, but I've taken them on flights. Just put them in your carry-on and you're good. But honestly, are they even effective after being exposed to temperature changes? I'd worry about the active ingredients degrading. Maybe check with the manufacturer? Sorry to be a downer, but I'd rather be safe.

From my research, NAC is sensitive to heat and moisture, but gummies are usually formulated to be more stable. I'd recommend using a small, airtight container and maybe a desiccant pack to keep them dry. For the hike, keep them in your backpack's outer pocket where it's cooler. Also, TSA-wise, no issue, but if you're going international, check the local regulations. Have a great trip!
