Just read this article about algae omega-3 ingredients market reaching $1.47 billion by 2032. Seems like algae-based DHA and EPA are becoming more popular. I've been thinking about switching from fish oil to algae for sustainability reasons. What do you all think? Is algae omega-3 as effective?

I've been using algae omega-3 for a few months now. I'm vegetarian, so it's a no-brainer for me. I feel like my skin and mood have improved, but I can't say for sure if it's the same as fish oil. Def less burps though! 😅 Anyone else made the switch?

Algae oil is legit! I read studies that show it's just as bioavailable as fish oil. Plus, no mercury worries. I'm a Crossfit guy and need my joints to be good. I take a gummy version with algae DHA and it works great. However, price is higher... but worth it for the planet.

Good to hear you guys like it! I'm going to give it a try. Frank, which gummies do you use? I'm all about convenience. Also, anyone know if the EPA content in algae is enough for inflammation? I've read some algae oils have more DHA than EPA.

I use Nordic Naturals algae omega-3 softgels, not gummies. But I think they make gummies too. For inflammation, I add turmeric. Works like a charm!
