Interesting article. VASCEPA is basically high-dose pure EPA. I've been using krill oil and vegan algae EPA/DHA for years. Curious if anyone here has tried prescription omega-3? My triglycerides are borderline, so I'm considering it.

I've been on Vascepa for 6 months. It works but it's pricey even with insurance. My trigs dropped from 350 to 180. I also take a gummy multivitamin but don't think gummy omega-3 would be strong enough for high trigs. The article says expanded indications – good news for patients.

Wow, 350 to 180 is solid! I'm all about gadgets like auto-injectors and smart pill bottles. But for omega-3 I just use a cheap fish oil from Amazon. My trigs were only slightly elevated. Anyone know if VASCEPA has gummy form? doubt it but worth asking lol.

No gummy version, unfortunately. Prescription omega-3 are capsules. But I bet someone will make a high-dose gummy someday. Have you tried adding fiber? That helps my trigs too.
