Found Omega-3 gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their Kirkland brand omega-3 gummy vitamins on sale for like half the price of the name brands. Has anyone tried these? I'm wondering if the lower price means they're cutting corners on quality, or if this is just a legit steal. My kids need their omega-3s but I don't want to waste money on junk either.

OMG I swear by the Kirkland ones! We've been using them for 2 years now. They're actually cleaner than some fancy brands - no artificial colors, gelatin-free (we're plant-based), and they use algae oil which is more sustainable than fish oil. The price is amazing because it's Costco's bulk model, not lower quality. My kids love the orange flavor too!

I'm always skeptical about store brands. Check the label carefully - sometimes they have less DHA/EPA per serving. I bought Target's version once and it had like half the omega-3 content of Nordic Naturals. Also watch for added sugars - some gummies are basically candy. Did you compare the supplement facts panel?

As a yoga instructor, I recommend focusing on absorption over price. Some cheaper brands use forms of omega-3 that aren't as bioavailable. That said, Costco's reputation is pretty solid. I'd say try them for a month and see how you feel - sometimes the body knows best! Maybe combine with mindfulness about how your kids respond?

Thanks everyone! YogaYara - good to hear they're plant-based, that's a plus. QuartzQuinn258 - you're right, I should compare labels. The Kirkland ones had 50mg DHA/EPA per gummy vs 100mg in the expensive brand, but you get twice as many for less money. LemonLiam525 - love the mindfulness approach! Think I'll grab them next Costco run.
