Hey all! I'm looking to get a health pack of gummies for my dad (65, active but wants joint support) and my best friend (marathon runner, always sore). I see Omega-3 is a big thing. What do you recommend? Any specific brands or combos? Also, any tips for picky eaters?

For your dad, definitely look into a combo with Omega-3 + Vitamin D + maybe some turmeric for joints. I've had good luck with the Nature's Bounty Advanced Gummies, they have a 'Joint & Bone' blend. For your marathon friend, Omega-3 fish oil gummies are great for inflammation, but I'd also add a magnesium gummy for muscle recovery. Just make sure to check the omega-3 dosage – some gummies have low EPA/DHA. I take the SmartyPants Men's Formula, that's got a good dose and also has vitamin K2 for absorption.

I'd be careful with gummies – they often have less omega-3 than capsules, and sugar content adds up. But if you're set on gummies, I'd look for ones with no added sugar or low sugar (like ZzzQuil's gummies? no, that's for sleep). Actually, check out Nordic Naturals – they have zero-sugar omega-3 gummies, but they taste like fish, so not for picky eaters. For your dad, maybe try a turmeric + ginger gummy for joints – I've heard good things about BioSchwartz's. For your friend, consider a recovery gummy with protein or collagen, but for omega-3 specifically, fish oil is better. If he's not picky, capsules are more effective and cheaper.

As a sleep-deprived parent, I feel you on the picky eater thing. My hubby hates fishy taste, so we go for the Olly Omega-3 gummies – they have a citrus flavor that masks it pretty well. For joints, my mom swears by the Nature's Way Alive! Women's Gummies, but they have a lot of B vitamins too – maybe too much for a man? Haha. Also, I'd suggest a daily multi for your dad if he's not taking one – but that might be overkill. For the marathon friend, I'd add a tart cherry gummy for recovery – I've seen those help with soreness. Just a thought!

As a marathon runner, I'd say the best gift for your friend is a good omega-3 gummy with high EPA/DHA – I use the VitaFusion Omega-3, they have 50mg EPA/DHA per serving, which is decent. Also, I love the Qunol CoQ10 gummies for heart health, but that might be too much. For your dad, joint support is key – I'd recommend the Nature's Bounty Advanced Joint Gummies, they have glucosamine and chondroitin plus vitamin D. And for picky eaters – the taste is actually pretty good. Also, consider a subscription box – like the 'Healthy Gummies Box' from CompleteGummies.com – they have different combos. But maybe start with a basic pack and see what works. Happy gifting!
