Hey all! I'm trying to get a health pack for my dad (he's 68, active but wants to keep his joints and heart healthy) and also a gift for my friend who is obsessed with fitness (like always in the gym). I want gummies – easy for my dad to take. They both need Omega-3 I think. Any recommendations? I'm looking for something that actually tastes good and has decent Omega-3 content. Thanks!

Hey Dewy! I'm a tech guy but I've tried a few brands with my fitness tracker. For your fitness friend, look for gummies with high EPA/DHA, maybe from algae (if vegan). But for your dad, maybe a combo with turmeric or vitamin D for joints. I've seen some 'health packs' that include Omega-3 and multivitamins. Taste-wise, the Nordic Naturals ones are decent, but they have a slight fishy aftertaste. My wife likes the Olly ones – they're more fruity and no fish burps. But check the label – some have lower amounts.

I got a health pack for my mom last Christmas from Nature's Bounty – it had Omega-3 and CoQ10, both gummies. She LOVED the taste, like strawberry. But to be honest, I didn't check if she felt any difference. My friend swears by the Wholier ones – they have a high Omega-3 and also adaptogens. But they're pricey. For your dad, maybe get a separate joint support – I use the spring valley glucosamine gummies, they're great. But for a complete pack, maybe look at the 'New Chapter' brand? They have a whole line. Also, check for third-party testing if your friend is picky.

As a meditation and wellness guy, I recommend the 'Omega-3 + Vitamin D3' gummies from SmartyPants. They have a good balance for both older and active folks. I've been taking them for a year, and my cholesterol improved (doc said so). For a gift, you could also get a subscription box? Some brands like 'Ritual' have monthly packs. But they're softgels, not gummies. For gummies, I'd say get a custom bundle – maybe the Omega-3 from Sun Chlorella (they have an algae-based one that's odorless) and a separate multivitamin. But if you want one box, 'Nature Made' has a nice combo with Omega-3 and CoQ10. Just make sure to check the dosage – for older adults, they might need more EPA/DHA. And for your gym friend, maybe add some protein gummies? But that's a different ballgame.
