So my husband thought our new omega-3 gummies were just candy. I found him with the jar, about to pop a handful! He was like 'these are delicious, what are they?' I had to explain they're supplements. He still wanted more. 🙄 Anyone else have this problem?

Haha, that's funny but also scary! Too many fat-soluble vitamins can be toxic. Omega-3s are generally safe in reasonable amounts, but still not candy. Maybe keep them out of sight? I've seen patients who overdosed on gummy vitamins because they taste too good.

As a retired nurse, I can confirm too many gummies can cause stomach issues or even vitamin toxicity. My grandkids always try to sneak them. I hide the bottle in a high cabinet now. Plus, some have sugar alcohols that cause diarrhea if eaten in excess!

Lol, I had the opposite problem - my kid refuses to eat omega-3 gummies because of the 'fishy' texture. She says they're slimy. I tried a different brand that's more fruity, and now she loves them. Maybe check the texture if he's still tempted? ;)
