Just read a study claiming high-dose omega-3s reduce joint pain by 40% in athletes. Sounds too good to be true, but I'll take it if it works. Any of you guys seen this? https://example.com/study123 Is this biased or real?

Anytime I see a 40% reduction claim, my BS detector goes off. Check the funding: if it's from a fish oil company, run. Also, what's the sample size? I've seen small studies with huge effects that never replicate.

As a retired nurse, I've seen patients benefit from omega-3s but never 40%. That's a red flag. The study you linked seems like it's from a journal I've never heard of. Maybe look for a meta-analysis instead?

I've been taking omega-3 gummies for a while (IF 16:8). Not sure about 40%, but my joints feel better. Placebo? Maybe. But I'll keep buying if it's gummy and tasty haha.

Fair points, everyone. I'll wait for more research before stocking up. Thanks for the reality check!
