Omega-3 gummies on sale at Costco – too good to be true?
Hey guys, saw the Kirkland brand omega-3 gummies on sale at Costco today – like $10 off. I usually grab the Nordic Naturals but that’s pricier. Anyone tried these? Are they legit or do you get what you pay for? I need my brain fuel for work lol.
I’ve bought those before. For the price, they’re solid. I mean, I’m not gonna claim they’re as potent as the high-end stuff, but if you’re just looking for a daily dose to keep things running, it’s a steal. My doc actually said the Kirkland stuff is pretty well-tested. So yeah, grab ‘em.
Honestly, I’m skeptical of any gummy omegas – especially cheap ones. They oxidize fast. Check the expiration date and see if they have any vitamin E to preserve freshness. Also, if you’re doing IF, make sure you take them with a meal for absorption. That said, Costco usually has decent quality control.
I’d look into the sourcing – farmed vs wild fish, sustainability. But yeah, if you’re on a budget, Costco’s stuff is fine. I’d just recommend pairing it with a good antioxidant to prevent rancidity. But hey, if it’s on sale and you need it, go for it!
