Hey everyone! I've been taking these omega-3 gummies for a few months, but recently I noticed they've gotten really hard and have this white powdery coating on them. They also stuck together in the bottle. Are they still safe to take? I hate to waste them but don't wanna get sick.

Hey OP! That sounds like sugar bloom or the gelatin breaking down from temp changes. Usually it's not harmful, but the texture is off. I'd toss 'em and get a new batch - better safe than sorry! Also store in a cool, dark place next time 😉

Ugh, that happened to my kid's gummies once. I called the company and they said it could be from moisture or heat. They said it's safe but texture degrades. TBH I threw them out anyway - not risking it with my kids. Just get new ones.

I've been taking gummies for years and that's normal if they're old or stored wrong. The white stuff is just sugar or oil coming to the surface. They're probably still potent, but check the expiration date. If it's past, toss 'em.

From a holistic perspective, your body knows. If they don't look right, trust your intuition. Heat can oxidize the oils, making them less effective. I agree with the others - get a fresh batch and this time keep 'em in the fridge! Stay well 🌿
