Omega-3 on sale at Costco - too good to be true?
Hey guys, I was at Costco today and saw a huge bottle of Omega-3 gummies for like $15. Normally these are $30+. Is it a steal or is there a catch? I'm usually a Nature Made guy but this was a generic brand. Any thoughts?
I've bought store-brand gummies before and they're usually fine. But check the label for the actual EPA/DHA content - sometimes they skimp on that. If it's comparable, then it's a good deal. I'm paleo so I prefer fish oil capsules, but if you're into gummies, that price is hard to beat.
Eh, I usually stick with brands that have third-party testing. But for gummies, the main thing is the taste and whether they work for you. Costco has a good return policy, so if they're duds, just bring them back. I say go for it.
As an eco-warrior, I'd check if their sourcing is sustainable. But honestly, if it's on sale, it might just be overstock or a promo. I'd grab it - just make sure it's not past expiration. And maybe do a quick search for the brand's reputation before buying.
