Saw Omega-3 gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?

Hey everyone, was at Costco yesterday and saw their Kirkland brand Omega-3 gummies on sale for like half the usual price. I'm tempted to stock up, but part of me is wondering if the lower price means they're cutting corners on quality? Or is this just a legit steal? Anyone have experience with store-brand omega-3s?

As a paleo dieter, I'm always skeptical of processed supplements, but I've actually tried those Kirkland ones! They're not bad for a budget option. The ingredients list is decent - no weird fillers I could spot. Just check the source - if it's wild-caught fish oil, that's a green light. If it's farmed, I'd pass. Price drop might just be overstock or seasonal.

Eco-warrior here! Before you buy, PLEASE check the sustainability certification on the packaging. Lower price sometimes means they're sourcing from questionable fisheries. Look for MSC or similar logos. Also, consider the plastic packaging - Costco stuff tends to come in huge containers that might not be recyclable in all areas. Quality isn't just about what's in the gummy!

Weekend warrior checking in - I grab those Kirkland omega-3s regularly! Honestly, for the price, they're solid. I've noticed zero difference in my joint recovery compared to the fancy brands. Just check the EPA/DHA content per serving - sometimes store brands skimp there. If the numbers match up, it's def a steal. I'd say go for it, especially if you're taking them daily.

Thanks all! Great points - I'll check the sourcing and EPA/DHA amounts next time I'm there. Appreciate the real-world experiences. Might grab one bottle to test before stocking up!
