Hey everyone! I'm going on a big trip next week - flying cross-country, then a road trip, and some hiking. I take omega-3 gummies daily and don't want to miss them. Has anyone traveled with these? Do they melt in heat? What about TSA rules for supplements? Any storage tips would be awesome!

As a mom who's been burned before (literally!), I'm super skeptical about gummies in heat. Last summer I left some in my car during a grocery run and they turned into a sticky mess. For travel, I'd recommend putting them in your carry-on, not checked luggage where it gets hot. TSA is usually fine with supplements in reasonable amounts - just keep them in original packaging. Honestly though, maybe consider capsules for travel? Less mess potential.

Busy pro here - I travel 2-3 times a month with my supplements. TSA has never questioned my gummies as long as they're in a clear bag with my liquids. Pro tip: use a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack if you're worried about melting, especially on road trips. I've had mine in checked bags on 8-hour flights without issues, but carry-on is safer. Just don't leave them in a hot car during hikes!

Marathon runner perspective - I take my omega-3 gummies on all my training trips! For hiking, I use a small thermos to keep them cool. On planes, I've never had TSA issues (US domestic). They do get soft in heat though - once had a batch fuse together in Arizona heat. Maybe portion them into daily packs so if they melt, you only lose one day's worth? Happy travels!
