Traveling with Omega-3 gummies – will they survive a hot car?
Hey everyone! I'm going on a road trip and then a short hike, and I want to bring my omega-3 gummies. But I'm worried they'll melt in the car or my backpack. Anyone have experience with this? Also, TSA rules? I'm flying back. Thanks!
I take my gummies everywhere on a budget lol. I just throw them in my carry-on. TSA didn't bat an eye. For melting, I keep them in a cooler bag with an ice pack if it's hot. They got a little soft on a hike once but still edible. Just don't leave them in direct sun.
Bro, gummies are tough. I've left mine in a hot gym bag for hours and they were fine. But if you're worried, store them in a dark place. TSA doesn't care about supplements. Just make sure they're in original bottle or a labeled bag. And for hiking, I use a small insulated pouch.
I'm skeptical about gummies melting but it happened to my daughter's vitamin gummies in the car. They turned into one big blob! So I'd say keep them cool. TSA is fine with gummies, no liquids rule. But check if they contain gelatin? Some omega-3 gummies do, and they might melt easier. I'd pack in a hard container to avoid crushing.
Thanks all! I'll use a small cooler bag and keep them in my carry-on. Appreciate the tips! 😊
