THREAD: Weird side effect from my omega-3 gummies - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey all, been taking these omega-3 gummies for about 3 weeks now. They're supposed to be good for brain health and inflammation, right? Well, I've noticed something kinda strange - my dreams have gotten SUPER vivid and intense. Like, full-on movie-level dreams every night. It's not bad or scary, just... noticeable. Has anyone else experienced this with omega-3 supplements? Should I be concerned?

Fascinating observation! There's actually some preliminary research suggesting omega-3 fatty acids (particularly DHA) might influence neurotransmitter function and brain cell membrane fluidity, which could theoretically affect REM sleep patterns. A 2017 study in the Journal of Sleep Research noted correlations between higher omega-3 intake and dream recall frequency. As long as you're not experiencing sleep disruption or daytime fatigue, this is likely harmless. What's the dosage and source (fish oil, algae, etc.) in your gummies?

Blessings, friend! The vivid dreams are your body's way of processing and detoxing. Omega-3s help balance your third eye chakra and enhance spiritual awareness during sleep. I've had clients report similar experiences - it's a sign the supplements are working! Try keeping a dream journal and see if there are messages from your higher self. Are you taking them with any adaptogens or other supplements?

Yo! First off, props for prioritizing those healthy fats! 🥑 I've been keto for 5 years and take omega-3s daily. Never had the dream thing personally, but I HAVE noticed my taste buds changed slightly - things taste cleaner? Could be related to reduced inflammation. As long as you're getting quality stuff without fillers, I'd say ride it out. Are yours sugar-free? That's crucial for metabolic health!

Before we get too deep into dream analysis - where are your gummies sourced from? Overfishing is destroying our oceans! If they're not from sustainable, MSC-certified fisheries or algae-based, you might be harming marine ecosystems for those vivid dreams. 🌊 Check the packaging and consider switching to a plant-based option. Our health shouldn't come at the planet's expense!
