Anyone else getting weird side effects from gummy vitamin powders?

Hey all, been mixing this berry-flavored gummy vitamin powder into my morning smoothie for about 2 weeks now. It's supposed to be a multivitamin + collagen blend. But lately, I've been having the most VIVID dreams—like, full-on movie plots every night. Last night I dreamt I was debugging a smart fridge that kept ordering too much kale. 😂 Not complaining, it's kinda fun, but is this normal? Anyone else?

LOL Nina, that sounds wild! I've been using a pre-workout gummy powder (extra B-vitamins for energy) and my pee has been neon yellow since day one. Freaked me out at first, but I googled it—it's just the riboflavin (B2) flushing out. Totally harmless. Maybe your dreams are from B6 or something? Those vitamins can mess with your brain chemistry a bit. As long as you're not sleepwalking into the gym at 3 AM, you're probably fine!

Good observation, Adam. Nina, vivid dreams can indeed be linked to high doses of B6 or even magnesium in some supplements—both are common in sleep-aid formulas too. Check your powder's label for those. Also, are you taking it close to bedtime? Even morning doses can affect sleep cycles if your body's sensitive. I'd recommend tracking it for another week and maybe adjusting timing. If it persists, consider switching to a lower-potency blend. Always listen to your body!

Oh my gosh, yes! Not dreams, but my kids' gummy vitamin powder (the organic fruit mix one) made everything taste like metal for a day. I panicked and called the pediatrician—she said it's usually zinc or iron overload, harmless but annoying. Stopped after we halved the dose. Nina, maybe cut back a scoop? These powders can be potent. P.S. If your dreams involve sentient appliances, maybe skip the tech podcasts before bed. 😉
