Can I mix my gummy vitamins with coffee? Safety concerns?

Hey all, night shift nurse here. I take a daily multivitamin gummy in the morning when I get off work, but I'm usually exhausted and chugging coffee to stay awake for errands. Is it safe to take the gummy WITH my coffee, or should I space them out? Worried about interactions since I'm already sleep-deprived lol. My gummy has vitamins A, C, D, zinc, and some B-complex.

ZenZoe46, as a nature photographer who's big on holistic stuff, I'd say be cautious! Coffee can interfere with nutrient absorption—especially minerals like zinc and iron. I take my gummies (similar blend) with a glass of water and wait an hour before my herbal tea. Maybe try that? Also, check if your gummy has caffeine-sensitive B-vitamins; mixing might make you jittery on top of sleep debt. Peace!

Skeptical mom of two here. I don't trust mixing supplements willy-nilly. Have you checked the label or asked your doctor? My kids' gummies say take with food, but coffee isn't food—it's a stimulant. I'd space them out by 30 mins at least. Also, what's the other supplement? You mentioned 'random'—if it's another gummy, watch for vitamin overdoses (like too much Vitamin A). Safety first!

Weekend warrior who lifts and hikes here. I've taken my protein powder with gummies and coffee post-workout, no issues so far. But I'm not a doc. For you, ZenZoe46, maybe test it on a day off? See if you feel weird. B-vitamins in gummies might pair okay with caffeine for energy, but listen to your body. If you get stomach aches or shakes, stop. Hope that helps—stay strong on those shifts!
