Costco sale on powders - too good to be true?
So I was at Costco today and saw a huge tub of their organic protein powder on sale for like 40% off. I'm tempted to buy it, but I'm worried that if it's that cheap, maybe it's low quality or they changed the formula or something. Anyone have experience with this? Is it a steal or should I pass?
I've been using that exact one from Costco! It's actually pretty good, I blend it into my morning smoothies. The sale happens pretty regularly, so I think it's just a good deal. But I'm not too picky about my protein powder, as long as it tastes decent and has enough protein. Also, the extra savings let me buy more meditation apps haha.
I'd be skeptical too. With supplements, you get what you pay for. But I've bought that brand before and it's solid. Just check the label for any weird additives or fillers. Also, check the expiration date - sometimes they put old stock on sale. But if it's fine, grab it! My kids are always stealing my protein shakes lol.
Price ≠ quality always. Look at the ingredient list and third-party testing. Costco has good return policy, so if it sucks, you can return it. I've analyzed that powder's amino acid profile and it's decent. Plus, 40% off is a solid discount. I'd say go for it, but be careful with the sucralose if you're sensitive. I'm more into unflavored, but that's just me.
