THREAD: Found gummy vitamin powders on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by YogurtYuri284

Hey everyone, was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand gummy vitamin powder mix on clearance for like half off. Normally I'm all about the fresh stuff from my garden, but with winter coming I was thinking of stocking up. Anyone know if these cheaper powders are just as good? Or is the low price a red flag for lower quality ingredients? Don't wanna waste money on something that won't actually help.

Yuri, great question! I've actually tried those Costco powders before when I was prepping for a long photography trip in the mountains. They're surprisingly decent for the price - not as vibrant in color as the premium brands (which matters to me for some reason lol), but they dissolved well in my morning smoothies. Check the expiration date though! Sometimes they discount stuff that's close to expiring. If it's got a good shelf life left, could be a steal.

bro i live for deals on supps. costco's kirkland brand is legit for basics. their protein powder is solid, so the vitamin one is probably fine too. just compare the nutrition label to your usual brand - look for fillers like maltodextrin or artificial colors. if it's clean, snag it. i got some target brand pre-workout powder once that was on sale and it was basically caffeine with food coloring lol. still worked tho 💪

Thanks both! Jack, good call on the expiration date - I'll check that. Ivy, you're right about comparing labels. The ingredients list looked pretty short from what I remember, mostly vitamins and natural flavors. Maybe I'll grab one container to test first instead of buying in bulk. Appreciate the real-world experiences!
