My kid thought my gummy vitamins were candy... now he’s a wiggly worm!

So my 5yo son saw my bottle of gummy vitamins on the counter and thought it was candy. I caught him just as he was about to pop a handful. I told him they’re for adults and taste gross. He didn’t believe me so I gave him a tiny piece. His face was priceless! He said, “Ew, it’s like a rubbery flower.” Now he calls them “wiggly worms.” Anyone else’s kids mistake them for candy?

LOL! I have a similar story. My husband once grabbed my elderberry gummy thinking it was a fruit snack. He nearly choked on the texture. He said it felt like a “chewy rock.” Now he checks the label before eating anything out of a jar. I think the gummy texture is polarizing – you either love it or hate it. Do you keep yours hidden?

Opposite problem here – my kid refuses to eat them because of the texture. She says they’re too “slimy.” I tried crushing them into yogurt but she still notices. Now I only buy the powder kind. Speaking of which, any powder recommendations for picky toddlers? We're using the Nature’s Bounty Orange flavor but she’s getting bored.

No hiding yet, but I might start! And for powders, I swear by the Garden of Life Kids Organic powder – it’s berry flavor and my nephew loves it. Mix it in a smoothie with banana and he doesn’t even taste it. Good luck!
