Taking gummies on the go - will they survive a cross-country flight?

Hey y'all! Planning a big hiking trip in the Rockies and wanna bring my gummy vitamins. But I'm flying there and then driving to the trailhead. Anyone know if these things melt in checked luggage? I usually take the Berry Boost ones. Also any TSA horror stories? I'm scared they'll think I'm smuggling something lol.

TSA don't care about gummy vitamins, they're food. I've flown with them in my carry-on dozens of times. Just keep 'em in original packaging or a labeled bag. For melting - I've had some get soft in summer but not fully liquid. Put 'em in an insulated bag with an ice pack if you're worried. Also pro tip: use a pill organizer with compartments for easy travel.

I always travel with gummies! For hiking, I put them in a small silicone bag (like those reusable snack bags) and stash in my backpack's waist pocket. They've never melted on me even in 90°F. If you're really concerned, pop 'em in a ziplock and submerge in your water bottle - the water stays cool and your gummies stay safe haha. But for real, just avoid direct sun and you're golden.

Thanks for the tips! Insulated bag sounds like a plan. Lol @ water bottle trick, BerryBen - I might actually try that if it's super hot. Any faves for long hikes? I need energy boost but not jitters.

For long hikes, I swear by Caffeine + B12 gummies. They're gentle but keep me going. And don't forget electrolytes - there are gummy versions of those too! Have an awesome trip!
