Hey everyone! I take these awesome gummy multivitamins in the morning and I've been wondering – can I just wash them down with my coffee? Does the heat or caffeine mess with the vitamins? Any science-y folks here? Thanks!

Honestly, I wouldn't risk it. I read somewhere that caffeine can interfere with absorption of some B vitamins and calcium. Plus, why mix things when you can just take them separately? Better safe than sorry, especially if you're giving them to kids.

I've been doing it for months and haven't noticed any issues. But I'm not a doctor lol. Coffee + gummy = morning ritual. I figure if the gummies melt in your mouth, they're already broken down. Just don't use scalding hot coffee, maybe?

I think it's fine as long as you're not expecting any magical synergy. A warm drink might even help dissolve the gummy faster. I'd just make sure your coffee isn't too hot to avoid melting it into a sticky mess. Enjoy your routine!

From a fitness perspective, caffeine can boost metabolism but also deplete some nutrients like magnesium. If your gummy has magnesium, maybe take it with a meal instead. Also, the heat might degrade some heat-sensitive vitamins. I'd separate them by at least 30 mins for optimal absorption.
