So I just read this article about tofu becoming the next big thing in clean eating. I'm all for plant-based options but I can't help but wonder - is this just another fad or is tofu actually worth the hype? I've tried it a few times and it's decent but not life-changing. What do you guys think?

I've been ketovore for 2 years now, so I'm biased lol. Tofu is a carb-soy hybrid that can kick you out of ketosis if you're not careful. But I get why people like it - it's versatile and cheap. Just not for me. I'll stick to my eggs and avocado.

As a vegan, I welcome the tofu renaissance! Finally people are realizing that plant-based proteins aren't just for hippies. Tofu is a complete protein, low in calories, and you can do anything with it. That article is spot on - it's about time we ditch the processed stuff and go back to whole foods.

I see both sides. I might give tofu another shot - maybe I just haven't cooked it right. Any recipe suggestions? I need something quick for after my workouts.

Try marinating it in soy sauce and garlic, then bake or pan-fry until crispy. Add to a salad or stir-fry. It's super easy. Also, look for 'super firm' tofu if you can find it - less water, better texture.
