Hey all! My dad is turning 70 and he's still pretty active, but I notice he's slowing down. I want to get him a 'health pack' of gummy vitamins (he hates pills). Also my best friend is a gym rat and I want something for her too. Any recs for specific brands or combos? I've looked at a few but I'm worried about quality or if they even work.

For your dad, I'd suggest a multivitamin gummy with added CoQ10 and turmeric - those are great for joint health and energy. For your gym buddy, look for a gummy with BCAAs or electrolytes, maybe a collagen one for recovery. Brands like Olly, Nature's Bounty, and Nordic Naturals are solid. Avoid anything with tons of sugar or weird fillers.

Aww thats sweet! My mom loves the Garden of Life prenatal gummies (she's not pregnant lol but she says they make her hair and nails amazing). For your dad, maybe a sampler pack? I saw that SmartyPants has a 'Men's 50+' gummy. And for your fitness friend, the 'Hero' gummies by Nature Made are popular for pre-workout. Just check the serving size, some gummies are like 4 a day.

I'm always a bit skeptical about gummies cause they can be candy in disguise. But I've found that the 'MaryRuth's' liquid vitamins are actually better absorbed, but they have gummies too. For your dad, I'd look into one with vitamin D and B12 for energy. And for your friend, maybe a separate 'stress' gummy with ashwagandha - gym rats need recovery from mental stress too!

Ok, I'm not a nutritionist but I bake with gummies sometimes lol. For a gift pack, try 'Nature's Way' Alive! gummies - they have a 'Men's 50+' and a 'Women's' version. Your friend might like the 'Zahler' sugar-free gummies if she's keto. Also, if you want to be extra, you can mix and match from the same brand so the bottles look cute together. Just double check they're not expired!
