Okay so I've been taking these prenatal gummies ( strawberry flavored ) and my 3 year old son saw the bottle and went NUTS. He kept asking for "candy" and I had to hide them in the cupboard above the fridge. But yesterday he climbed on a chair and got them! I found him with sticky hands and a half-eaten gummy. I panicked - are these dangerous for kids? He seems fine, but I'm freaking out. Has this happened to anyone else?

Oh man, that's a classic! My kid did the same thing with my magnesium gummies. Usually a few won't hurt but def call poison control just to be safe. Also I recommend a childproof lock for future lol. My advice: keep ALL supplements in a high cabinet with a lock. Kids are clever little monkeys.

BioBob, I feel you. My husband actually ate half my prenatal gummies last month thinking they were a new brand of fruit snacks. He was like "these are kinda sour, but good!" and I was like "THOSE ARE FOR THE FETUS, KEVIN." 😂 He survived. But yeah, the texture thing - my kid HATES gummies! Refuses prenatal vitamins altogether now. I have to crush the pills into applesauce.

Haha, that's a good story. BioBob, maybe try keeping them in the original bottle and then putting that inside a tuppperware? Out of sight out of mind. But honestly, the fact that they taste good is a double edged sword. My kid won't even look at a gummy vitamin now because he says the texture is "weird". Kids are weird.
