Hey everyone! I tried to make my own prenatal gummies using gelatin and a prenatal vitamin powder. I followed a recipe I found online but they turned out super rubbery and the vitamins settled at the bottom. Any tips for a better batch?

I've made gummies for post-workout recovery. Make sure you bloom the gelatin in cold water first, and use a whisk to mix the vitamin powder gradually. Also, try using a silicone mold and pop it in the fridge for 2 hours. Good luck!

As a biohacker, I've experimented a lot. The settling issue is common - you need an emulsifier like sunflower lecithin. Also, check the pH; too acidic can break down gelatin. Agar might be more stable but gives a different texture.

I just use store-bought, but for photography I like the look of homemade. Maybe the vitamin powder is too grainy? Try sifting it first or using a mortar and pestle. Also, heat the mixture gently, don't boil.

Paleo here - I avoid processed stuff. For homemade, use grass-fed gelatin and maybe add some fruit juice for flavor. The rubberiness could be too much gelatin. Start with a 1:1 ratio of liquid to gelatin by weight and adjust.
