Just saw this article about the EPA & DHA market hitting $4B! That's huge for omega-3s. As someone who takes prenatal gummies with DHA, I'm wondering if prices will skyrocket. What do you all think?

I've been taking algal DHA gummies for years now. The market growth just means more innovation and competition, which could actually lower prices. But yeah, if demand keeps rising, we might see some price hikes short-term. Still, worth it for the brain benefits!

I'm a bit skeptical of all these supplements. My grandma had 5 kids without taking any omega-3 gummies and she's sharp as a tack at 85. I think whole foods like fatty fish are better. But I know some people can't stomach fish during pregnancy.

As a marathon runner, I swore by fish oil capsules for joint health. But during my pregnancy, I switched to gummies because I couldn't handle the aftertaste. The market growth is good news – means more options for us. I just hope they keep the sugar content low!

Good points all around! I like the idea of more options. @RhinoRich, what brand of algal DHA do you use? I'm trying to find a sustainable source.
