Hey all! I'm heading on a road trip and then a short hike next week. I take prenatal gummies daily and don't want to miss a dose. Do these things melt in hot car or backpack? Also, any issues with TSA if I fly? They're gummies, not liquids right? Storage tips appreciated!

I've traveled with gummy vitamins a lot. They can get sticky in heat but won't fully melt unless it's like 100°F+ for hours. Keep them in your carry-on in a cool bag if you can. TSA doesn't care about gummies - they're solid. Just don't bring a huge bottle, stick to a small travel amount.

Yeah, I'd say avoid leaving them in a hot car. For hiking, I put mine in a small ziplock and tuck it inside my pack away from direct sun. They've gotten a little soft but still fine. Also check if your brand uses gelatin or pectin - pectin ones might hold up better in heat.

I second the ziplock idea! Also, you can keep 'em in a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack if you're really worried. TSA never gave me trouble for gummies. Just don't try to bring a giant container. And if they do get soft, pop 'em in the fridge when you get to your destination - they firm right up.
