Traveling with prenatal gummies – do they melt? TSA okay?

Hey everyone! I’m heading on a road trip next week and then a plane ride. I always take my prenatal gummies but I’m worried they’ll melt in the car or get flagged by TSA. Anyone have experience traveling with these? Should I put them in checked or carry-on? Any storage tips?

Ivy, I’ve taken gummies on planes many times. TSA doesn’t care as long as they’re in original packaging or a reasonable amount. For melting, I keep them in a cool bag or insulated pouch. On road trips, avoid leaving them in a hot car – bring them in a cooler. Also, check if your brand has a travel-size container!

I second keeping them cool! I use a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack for long drives. For flights, carry-on is fine – just don’t put them in checked luggage because temps can get extreme. Also, some gummies are more heat-resistant, so check the ingredients. If they have gelatin, they melt easier. Pectin-based ones hold up better.

Thanks guys! I didn’t think about pectin vs gelatin. Mine are pectin-based, so that’s good. I’ll grab a little cooler bag. Do you think I need a note from my doctor? Paranoid newbie here haha.

Nah, you don’t need a note unless it’s a prescription. Gummies are supplements, not meds. Just don’t bring a giant bottle – a 30-day supply is fine. Safe travels!
