Costco Probiotic Gummies on Sale - Too Good to Be True?
So I found these probiotic gummies at Costco for like half the price they usually go for at my pharmacy. Is this a steal or are they cheaping out on the ingredients? I don't wanna waste my money on something that doesn't work.
Girl, Costco is the holy grail for supplements! They buy in bulk so they can offer lower prices. I get my probiotic gummies there all the time and they work just as well as the expensive ones from Whole Foods. Just check the CFU count and strain diversity - as long as it's similar, you're good. Total steal, grab them!
I agree with Gigi. I've been getting mine at Costco for ages - the price is great and my gut feels fine. But hey, if you're worried, just do a quick refund if they don't work. Costco has a bomb return policy. Also, check the expiration date - sometimes they get a good deal on stuff that's close to expiring, but if it's far out, you're good.
Honestly, I'm always skeptical of supplements that go on sale. It might be a marketing tactic to offload less effective batches. But Costco is pretty reputable. Still, I'd compare the ingredients with the expensive brand. If the CFU count is in the billions and it has multiple strains like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, it's probably fine. I'd buy one and see if you notice a difference. If not, return it.
